Heartworm
In our part of Oklahoma, dogs are at risk of contracting Canine Heartworm Disease year-round. Heartworms are transmitted when a mosquito feeds on an infected dog and then bites your dog. We recommend testing your dog for heartworms and then keeping it on a preventative year-round for protection. More information on Canine Heartworm Disease can be found here.
